🎬 Danny’s Not Going Alone — Donnie Wahlberg Teases Cameos from Blue Bloods Co-Stars in Spinoff! 💙🔥

Blue Bloods may have come to an end, but Donnie Wahlberg’s Danny Reagan is getting his own series! He’s not in New York City this time as the show, Boston Blue, is taking Wahlberg back to his own hometown. We don’t know who else from the flagship series we could see on Boston Blue, and it is something that fans have been asking about. Wahlberg is down to give us all the teases that he possibly can. The original show, which had Tom Selleck as Frank Reagan, was beloved by fans, and while they’re excited to see Danny again, they also want to have hope that they’ll see some of the original cast make cameo appearances on the new series.

Luckily, it seems as if Wahlberg wants the same. In a post that Wahlberg shared on Instagram back in March, fans were asking about the series and its connection to Blue Bloods. One fan wrote, “I wish it was the entire family, that’s what made Blue Bloods work. Not just one character.” As a response, Wahlberg told the fan to “tune in.” Another fan shared their desire for the cast to make cameo appearances, and he responded: “same, same.”

When Blue Bloods star Will Hochman wrote on the post, “Legendary” with crowns, Wahlberg responded: “My guy – counting on you to come visit your uncle on screen!” A fan chimed in, saying “Hopeful you will pay him a visit!!! Work a hot case!!” So despite the original series coming to an end, fans are still hopeful that they can see their favorite family again.

New York and Boston Are Really Close': Donnie Wahlberg Teases Returning Characters in Blue Bloods Spinoff

When Blue Bloods ended, it was important to the team that the relationships on the show were varied. Wahlberg was speaking to Variety about the series and shared a reason why Danny and Baez’s, played by Marisa Ramirez, relationship wasn’t exactly what fans wanted. “It was important to [producer] Kevin Wade to not have every partnership turn into a relationship. And I regarded that, and I agreed with it. I think it was just probably important for me personally that Danny grows,” said Wahlberg. “As the audience starts sorting of clamoring for a relationship with Danny and Baez, I thought, it’s more important for them to grow and for her to start making an impact on him, and him to really respect her in a way that he hasn’t always respected certain people in the show.”
